The Journey Begins

And so it goes – after plans, preparation and prayers, our journey to Alaska finally began at 12:37 pm on April 14, 2018.

Our journey started with journeys of their own.  Family and work lives, retirement six weeks ago and getting ready to leave.

We are especially grateful for sendoffs by our church family group and neighbors.  We cherish the times together and miss you all.

Our first stop is a visit with our daughter, son-in-law and three-month-old grandson near Macon, Georgia.

It is raining here today but we are nice and dry.  Good chance to figure out how to blog and to plan our days ahead.
