Welcome!

Pat and I left full time jobs in 2018 and have been blessed with amazing travel experiences since. From Florida, we have traveled to:

Delicate Arch sunrise hike in Arches NP
2021 sunrise hike to Delicate Arch in Arches NP
  • Alaska twice (2018 and 2023, each six months)
  • Grand Teton and Yellowstone (2019, two months)
  • Michigan and Blue Ridge Parkway (2020, two months)*
  • Southwest states (2021, two months)*
  • Newfoundland (2022, three months)

We’ve camped throughout our married lives, starting with a tiny dome tent and then a converted short wheelbase Chevy van. We camped up and down the east coast and out west twice with our children in an Apache pop-up camper, and then, once the nest was empty, two different travel trailers. In 2023, we downsized and simplified to a truck camper.

Each season of camping and travel experience has been special, with interesting, unexpected, sometimes challenging and often meaningful diversions.  We refer to these diversions as RabbiTRAILS!

We hope you will find something of value in this blog as you follow your own RabbiTRAILS.  Your experiences, comments and suggestions are always welcome!

* Note – 2020/2021 RabbiTRAILS are not blogged
